  • TransParenthood is a weekly support group for parents and family members of trans, nonbinary, and gender questioning youth. We invite you to share your story, hear from others, and gain support for you and your child’s journey in the comfort of a judgment-free space.

    When: Mondays from 6:30 – 8:00 pm on Zoom. New members are always welcome.

    New Jersey’s statewide advocacy and education organization for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community with 150,000+ members. Garden State Equality (GSE) is the largest LGBTQ advocacy organization in New Jersey and one of the most successful statewide civil rights organization for the LGBTQ community in the nation. Services include advocacy, policy work, and trainings.

  • Newark LGBTQ Community Center, The Newark LGBTQ Center was opened to the Newark LGBTQ community as a safe space, especially for people of color. After a 10-year battle with various local administrations, the founders were able to accomplish their dream of establishing Newark’s first LGBTQ center.

  • Oakland NJ Pride. We came together when a group of LGBTQ+ people and allies petitioned our Mayor and Council to raise a Pride flag in town. Our goal now is to build a more active LGBTQ+ social community, focused on planning meet-ups and social events.

They provide tailored trainings for a wide range of clients, and also offer webinars, training of trainers and classes for individuals.
