A passion for DBT and CBT, and the people learning to use them.
I work with both adolescents and adults in our DBT program, and I have a particular interest in working with veterans and their families. My approach is grounded in evidence-based methods (DBT and CBT), and I am steadily building out specialty training in trauma work as part of my growth as a clinician.
I receive intensive clinical supervision from Turn the Mind's senior leadership team, which means my clients benefit from the collective expertise of our entire clinical staff alongside the work we do together. You get focused care from me and the depth of the team behind it.
I especially enjoy supporting the transitions of young adulthood. The figuring out of who you are, what you want, and how to actually move toward it. In addition to individual therapy, I lead our Adolescent DBT Groups.
Areas of special interest.
My practice is shaped by the people I find most rewarding to work with and the moments where good DBT and CBT can change a life.
Adolescent DBT & group leadership
I work with teens individually and lead our Adolescent DBT Groups, where multi-family skills training meets real-life practice for both teens and parents.
Figuring out who you are
For people in the in-between years, working through identity, direction, relationships, and what comes next. This is some of my favorite work.
Special interest in working with veterans
I have a particular interest in supporting veterans and their families with DBT and CBT, and I bring care and respect to the unique experiences this work asks for.
