I specialize in working with trauma clients and am certified in EMDR by EMDRIA and Somatic Experiencing Certified by the SE™ Trauma Institute, and training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I have extensively studied the neurobiology of trauma and trauma treatment. While Sensorimotor Psychotherapy focuses on the body's posture and movement patterns related to trauma, Somatic Experiencing works specifically with the nervous system's 'fight, flight, or freeze' responses to help you complete the biological stress cycle.

I am intensively trained in DBT and work with clients using DBT and CBT. I have experience in forensic, inpatient, and outpatient environments.

I am a native Spanish speaker and provide EMDR and Somatic Experiencing in Spanish.

I also develop programs, provide program development consulting, and supervise other social workers for licensure.
