About Turn The Mind

Complex challenges. Compassionate, evidence-based care.

We're a boutique group practice in Glen Rock, NJ for people whose mental health concerns have been called too complex, too high-acuity, or too specialized for general practices. We work where other clinicians often don't — and we're trained for it.

A small team built for the work most practices won't take on.

Many of our clients come to us after being told their concerns are "too difficult" by another provider, or after stepping down from a more intensive level of care and needing somewhere that won't lose the thread. We work effectively with trauma, severe emotional dysregulation, suicidality and self-harm, depression, anxiety, and disordered eating — not as edge cases, but as the center of our clinical practice.

We stay current with therapeutic advances while ensuring you're treated as a whole person — not a collection of symptoms.

Our clinicians are trained in evidence-based modalities including DBT, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, CBT, specialized eating disorder treatment, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy integration. The depth of training matters — but so does what happens in the room. Our boutique size means you get focused attention, real continuity, and a team that knows your history.

No matter how long you've struggled, we believe in your capacity for healing. We'll work together to build the skills and insights needed for a more balanced life.

Specialized care, delivered with depth.

Three things we hold ourselves to that shape every part of how we practice.

01 — Clinical Depth

Trained for high-acuity work

Our clinicians hold advanced training in DBT, trauma modalities, and eating disorder treatment — including DBT-LBC certification and ongoing supervised training programs. We don't generalize; we go deep.

02 — Real Continuity

A boutique team, not a directory

We're small on purpose. Your clinician knows your history, our team consults on cases together, and you don't get bounced between unfamiliar providers when you need support.

03 — Whole-Person Care

Affirming, integrative, current

LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed, and grounded in current research. We integrate body-based and somatic approaches alongside cognitive work — because healing isn't only a thinking process.
