Complex challenges. Compassionate, evidence-based care.
We are a boutique group practice in Glen Rock, NJ for people whose mental health concerns have been called too complex, too high-acuity, or too specialized for general practices, and we are trained for it.
Free 15-min consultA small team built for the work most practices won't take on.
Many of our clients come to us after being told their concerns are too difficult by another provider, or after stepping down from a more intensive level of care and needing somewhere that won't lose the thread. We work effectively with trauma, severe emotional dysregulation, suicidality and self-harm, depression, anxiety, and disordered eating, not as edge cases, but as the center of our clinical practice.
Our clinicians are trained in evidence-based modalities including DBT, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, CBT, specialized eating disorder treatment, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy integration. The depth of training matters, and so does what happens in the room. Our boutique size means you get focused attention, real continuity, and a team that knows your history.
No matter how long you have struggled, we believe in your capacity for healing. We will work together to build the skills and insights needed for a more balanced life.
Specialized care, delivered with depth.
Three things we hold ourselves to that shape every part of how we practice.
Trained for high-acuity work
Our clinicians hold advanced training in DBT, trauma modalities, and eating disorder treatment, including DBT-LBC certification and ongoing supervised training programs. We don't generalize; we go deep.
A boutique team, not a directory
We are small on purpose. Your clinician knows your history, our team consults on cases together, and you do not get bounced between unfamiliar providers when you need support.
Affirming, integrative, current
LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed, and grounded in current research. We integrate body-based and somatic approaches alongside cognitive work, because healing is not only a thinking process.

Advanced Training
Certifications & advanced training
The depth of training matters. Several of our clinicians hold the highest level of certification available in their respective modalities, requiring years of supervised practice, written and video case reviews, and rigorous examination.
DBT-Linehan Board of Certification
Certified DBT Clinician
Held by: Laura Richardson, Ph.D.
The DBT-LBC certification is the only standardized certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Certified clinicians have demonstrated adherence to the full DBT model through case review, examination, and supervised practice.
EMDR International Association
EMDR Certified Therapist
Held by: Laura Richardson, Ph.D., and Melissa Green-Jackson, LPC
EMDRIA Certification goes beyond basic EMDR training. Certified Therapists have completed advanced consultation hours and demonstrated ongoing clinical proficiency in EMDR therapy for trauma.
Somatic Experiencing International
SE Level 1 Trained
Held by: Martha Jimenez, LCSW
Somatic Experiencing is a body-based approach to trauma developed by Dr. Peter Levine. Level 1 establishes the foundational skills for working with the nervous system, helping clients release stored traumatic activation through body awareness and titrated processing.
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute
SP Level 1 Trained
Held by: Melissa Green-Jackson, LPC
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy integrates body awareness, movement, and somatic interventions with traditional talk therapy. Level 1 focuses specifically on trauma and the treatment of post-traumatic conditions through nervous system regulation and body-based processing.
These certifications represent thousands of hours of advanced training beyond licensure. They're part of why we're able to take on the high-acuity work most general practices won't.
